	Powell students in grades 3, 4, and 5 may vote in January, along with thousands of other Texas students, to select our state’s Bluebonnet Award Book. To qualify to vote, a student must read (or hear read aloud) at least 5 of the 20 nominated books listed. These books are available at the city and school libraries.
Bluebonnet Luncheons and Voting takes place in January.
Bluebonnet Party is held in February.
