Our First Grade Rules

Classroom rules:
     1.  Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
        2.  Listen to and follow directions.
        3.  Use kind words when speaking to others.
        4.  Walk quietly everywhere.

Rewards:

        1.  Verbal and written praise.
        2.  Stickers
        3.  Awards
        4.  Positive rewards from the Principal
        5.  Positive letters or phone calls to parents.

Consequences:

     Each child has a pocket containing five crayons.  The crayons are green, yellow, blue, black and red.

Green crayon.............................Great day!  Happy face in folder
Yellow crayon............................Five minutes in Time-out
Blue crayon................................Sit out ten minutes of recess
Black crayon..............................Call parents
Red crayon................................Meeting in Principal's office

Students will be sent to the principal's office for severe discipline problems or for a recurring situation of which you have been previously notified.
